Corruption and cover up
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Justin Jones wiped clean his phone of all text messages related to a lawsuit against Clark County in April 2019 for two specific, dishonest reasons: corruption and cover-up, the state’s bar counsel told a hearing panel Monday.
In his own defense, Jones testified he does not remember “whatever the act of deleting was” or “why I deleted the text messages.”

“He knows the importance of text messages,” Dan Hooge, the bar counsel, said in an opening statement at Jones’ disciplinary hearing, as part of his attempt to suspend or revoke Jones’ license to practice law in Nevada, which he earned in 2003.
